Abstract Over the decades, global plastic production has been exponentially increasing with a significant increase of waste as well. Consequently, our environment suffered lot because synthetic is less biodegradable or even not completely biodegradable. On other hand, conventional recycling rate and management in top ten contributors are still low to reduce contamination pollution from waste. Particularly, Indonesia, one world’s most outstanding emerging market economies contribution on ASEAN, should consider breakthrough novel technology fight Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) might have closest relation upcycling this compound can be used primary material synthesize bioplastic, so-called plastic, bioplastic process. Many Pseudomonads natively produce PHA their extracellular product. This study qualitatively shows that new strain Pseudomonas capeferrum TDA 1 produces various sole carbon sources, including monomers. finding gives insight for many improvements “plastic bio-plastic” process an industrial scale.
